Congratulations to Mila Clancy, who won gold in the girl's U14 Pentathlon last weekend. Mila also recently won gold in the U14 long jump at the Nationals in Tullamore. Not only did she win gold, but she also set a new national record of 5.27m breaking a record that had stood for U14s since 2006. Our ladies beat Eoghan Rua in their championship game last Sunday on a scoreline of 4:28 to 3:14. Their next game is the league final against Tourlestrane on Sunday, August 7th at 2pm, with a venue yet to be decided. Our senior men lost their league match to Curry last weekend on a scoreline of 1:18 to 1:10. Their next game is at home to Ballymote on Friday at 8pm. Our U19 boys had a good win over Ballymote / Bunninadden last week on a scoreline of 6:19 to 1:10. They are away to St Molaise Gaels this Wednesday at 7.30pm. Our U15 boys are away to Enniscrone/Kilglass on Thursday at 7pm. Our junior men are at home to Geevagh this Sunday at 1pm. We wish our great supporter, Sean Coleman, a speedy recovery. The club would like to extend sympathies to the Murray family on the passing of Vincent. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Dermot Flaherty, Monasteraden won our weekly 50/50 Draw with a jackpot of €678. Every Monday evening, the draw takes place, and there will be one guaranteed lucky jackpot winner each week. Tickets cost €2 or three tickets for €5 and can be played online via www.lottoraiser.ie/EasternHarps and can also be played by purchasing a ticket in Centra, Gurteen, Drurys, Monasteraden, Roisin Dubh, Gurteen.
