It was a great week on the pitch last weekend. On Friday our Minor Boys beat St. Molaise Gael's on a scoreline of 19 points to 9. A huge willingness to work for each other was the key to their success in which the scoring was shared by no less than 9 players. Credit to the volunteers who spent most of Friday working on the pitch to ensure the pitch was playable.

On Saturday our Junior A team retained their championship status by beating St. Johns in the relegation playoff.

On Sunday our senior men beat Coolera/Strandhill on a score line of 1:12 to 0:11 in the championship quarter final. Martin Doherty got a crucial goal in the second half which paved the way for victory which now sees us play St. Marys this Sunday in the semi final at 4pm in Markievicz Park. Due to the continuation of the poor weather the pitch remains closed for all training. The U.13 team had a great win when beating St.Johns on a scoreline of 6.09 to 6.06. This was played in Carrowroe as our pitch was unplayable.Bingo continues every Friday night in Gurteen Hall at 8.30pm. The jackpot is €1,900 in 47 calls or less.
