Our senior men lost to St. Marys in the first round of the championship which was played in Markievicz Park last Sunday. Two early second half goals seen St. Marys go into a 6 point lead but a very resilient performance form the lads seen them get it back to one point with 5 minutes to play. St. Marys tagged on another 2 points in the final minutes which left the score line at 0:13 to 2:10. We now look forward to Round 2 of the Senior Championship versus Curry in Kilcoyne Park, Tubbercurry on Sunday, 20th August at 6pm.
