Congrats to our U16 boys and management on winning the A shield Final on Sunday against Coolera/Strandhill on a score line of 7.08 to 4.11. It was an excellent team performance who were captained by Kyle Cosgrove. They begin the defence of the U16 championship title next week with an away match in Geevagh.

Our U14 team got their championship off to a perfect start by beating Coolaney/Mullinabreena in Keash on Friday evening last.

We had another raffle in our buy a block fundraiser on Friday evening for an item of Garden machinery sponsored by East Bros in association with Gardencare. The winner on this occasion was Nicholas Ryan from Gurteen. There will be another 4 monthly draws before the final draw in November which has over 4k in prize money. Tickets can be purchased from any executive member and also on line by visiting our website.

We had a hugely successful Cul Camp held in Gurteen Community Pitch. Up to 170 school children enjoyed fantastic weather and learned the skills of our native game aided by very good coaches.

After winning their first championship game against St. Michael's our Senior Ladies were defeated by Eoghan Rua last weekend. However the minor girl's got their campaign off to a perfect start by beating Drumcliffe in Oxfield last Sunday morning.
